Alghero overview

Alghero is a fascinating town with an immense historical interest tracing back to 11th century and also boasts excellent beaches. A new feature is the impressive 4km promenade called La Rambla after its famous counterpart in Barcelona, which runs the lenght of the resort encompassing the old town en route. Algheros Piazzas which are profilerate within the old town area are linked by narrow cobbled streets and beyond the old town there is still more to explore
