Dubrovnik overview

Dubrovnik has been called the most perfectly preserved medieval city in the world, which has for centuries rivalled Venice as a major sea trading port. Its walls, built between the 11th and 17th centuries, are still intact. The famous Dubrovnik summer festival in July and August features outdoor concerts and other cultural events.
